Ride The S.L.U.T. In Seattle

Those darn city planners have done it again.  A new street car line in Seattle has been lovingly dubbed the "S.L.U.T." by locals after a branding snafu by city officials.  Previously called the South Lake Union Trolley, it has since been renamed the South Lake Union Streetcar.  But, not before Kapow! Coffee, a neighborhood coffee shop, mass-produced appropriate t-shirts to commemorate the new line.  Apparently they sell out of them as quickly as they put out ;)  I just placed an order for my very own S.L.U.T. shirt at their website: Ridetheslut.com.  Update: Just got my S.L.U.T. shirt in the mail!  Loving it and enjoying the ride.

Wear Your Kameraflage

Exceptionally Curious T-Shirts

I love my new T-shirt!  I met a local artist/designer/chef at the Los Altos Farmer's Market last week who makes some mean t-shirts.  It all started with a comic she drew which was populated, I assume, by the quirky and peculiar stick figures (and more) she conjures up in her imagination.  My particular shirt is titled, "Attack Of The Fuzzies."  Check out the website Juror2.net for a collection "The Jen's" designs, and where to find her.

For all you style mavens who shelled out over $600 for an iPhone, why not go the extra distance and get yourself hooked up with a Louis Vuitton iPhone case?  Available only at the NYC 5th Avenue flagship store beginning July 6th (then nationwide in October), prices range from $120 for their signature monogram canvas up to $1,120 for alligator leather.  Hmm, for that price I'd rather save my hard-earned cash for iPhone V 2.0.  Via Glam Chic.

Diesel Wows Show Goers With Holographic Catwalk

Diesel fashion house wowed crowds recently with a show entitled  "Liquid Space."

Via Cool Hunting: The show played with concepts of metamorphosis as strange hybrid forms of man, machine and sea creature appeared to float through space. Weaving their way around the actual models, these creatures transformed into animated models wearing the collection and then the clothes dissolved into millions of glittering fishes. The format and style of the traditional fashion show has been played with by many designers, but with this show Diesel moved into a new creative realm, combining fashion and 3D animation technology in front of a live audience.
