Good Vibrations Power Micro Generator

A novel generator produced by scientists at the University of Southampton generates microwatts of electricity via magnets that are propelled into motion by natural vibrations in the world around us.  The device measures less than one cubic centimeter and can essentially act as a wireless sensor for various applications.  Future applications may include powering devices such as cardiac pacemakers.  Via BBC.
